Bhuiyan warns BNP leaders in Sylhet, Khulna

Wednesday August 03 2005 10:03:14 AM BDT

The BNP secretary general and LGRD and cooperatives minister, Abdul Mannan Bhuiyan, on Tuesday threatened party leaders involved in intra-party conflicts in Sylhet and Khulna with disciplinary actions against them.

‘Disciplinary actions will be taken against the leaders or activists, whoever they are, found to be instigating intra-party feud,’ he said in the letters sent to the leaders of the committees of Sylhet and Khulna.

Mannan sent the letters to the leaders in the face of raging feuds between the old guards of the party and the young aspirants for leadership in many districts including Sylhet, Moulvibazar, Brahmanbaria, Chittagong and Khulna.
