Dhaka-Delhi border talks begin

A two-day meeting of the Bangladesh- India joint border working group began on Sunday at the state guest house Meghna in Dhaka, reports BSS..
The meeting discussed border issues, including identification of 6.5-kilometer unsettled boundary between the two countries, adversely occupied land, communication problems in the enclaves and terrorism.
Joint Secretary (political) of the Home Ministry Akhter Ahmed led the 19-member Bangladesh delegation while Joint Secretary of the Indian Foreign Ministry Mohan Kumar led the 16- member delegation.
