To Sheikh Hasina's utter dismay Norwegian parliament decided to award this year's Nobel Peace Prize to Professor (Dr.) Mohammad Younus of Bangladesh. We feel proud although we were expecting Forofessor Younus to get Nobel Prize for Economics for his revolutionary practice of lending money to million poor through Grameen Bank although sums are very insignificant compared to those taken by big bosses from different spectrum of political boundaries.

Sheikh Hasina when came to power was running crazily to bag as many as prizes & degrees as can be and one time was so sure to get Nobel Peace Prize that our chatukars in Awami League were forecasting it like anything. She even engazed numbers of government officials to lobby here & there and spent a huge amount of state money for this failed & stupid attempt.

Chatukars advised her that if she could sign a 'Peace Treaty' with those in CHT, Nobel Prize would be her's certainly. And this was the reason why so hastily she signed this unequal & anti-state treaty. But all there expectation to have this prestigious prize were diluted and then came the news of Professor Younus getting the prize.

This is the reason why Awamis are not very happy about Professor Younus winning this World Prize. Professor Younus is a very straight forward man and he is always standing against all destructive politics. He is constantly speaking against hartals and other destructive means for attaining political gains.

For a sinking man, world is sinking. Awamis are sinking in a fathomless political black hole from where there is little chance to come out for which Awamis think that entire nation is sinking. Once when they will understand their mistake, they will cry but it will be too late. Don't cry Mr. Toufique. Country's biggest defaulter Mr. Salman F. Rahman has been made an advisor to Sheikh Hasina.

Ask Dr. Kamal Hussain (who himself is a legal criminal) about Salman Rahman. Try to give good words to Awamis so that they understand they can not play with lives & deaths of their own 'Bengalis' indefinitely.
