I am currently a British Citizen and a Bangladeshi national. My entire family live in UK and I am asking you for some assistance as I don't have anyone to ask for help in Bangladesh.On the 3rd July 2011, My brother Shahed Miah (19) of Shabia Village, Moulvibazar, Bangladesh, Had been missing. On the 6th of July 2011, Shaheds body was recovered from a canal about 1.5km away. The body had obvious signs that he had been murdered.

Infact his body had his hands tied behind his back, neck cut open and whole face and head scalped. The police took around 3 weeks to catch one of the culprits involved as they stole Shaheds mobile phone which was tracked using GPS. The caught man was known as Photul, of whom come from the same village as Shahed. Photul gave a graphic detail to the police of the murder and how many suspects are involved. The ringleader for the men is called KUKON AHMED, then the others which are HUMAYON, JOSHIM and HABIB. Kukon ahmed at the time of the murder was in the running as a candidate for sardnigat, moulvibazar elections on 3rd July 2011. My brother has never been involved with anything political and the last time I had seen him was 8 years ago. My mother and sister were the last people to see him, which was around 3 years ago. All these men came from the same village and Humayon is actually a neighbour. All these men are around the age of 22-45.

A month or two later, Humayon was caught. Like Photul he gave a graphic account to the police and RAB and named KUKON AHMED as the ring leader. The time had passed till December 2011 and Kukon, Joshim and Habib were still at large, so we decided to do a fresh appeal for information. By this time we had heard that Kukon was well known in the village to being a Thug (shontashi).

12th of December 2011 my mother, brother and I did a press conference in UK, for everyone to help us catch these murderes at large and hope the DHAKA HIGH COURT does NOT grant the two help in prison bail, as rumours had been spreading fast. We find it hard to beleive that someone like Kukon can just dissappear of the face of the Earth.....we have had many obsticles to climb just to get this far and we are asking the High Commision and everyone else in Bangladesh to help us to seek JUSTICE for Shahed, who at the age of 19 was a completely innocent young lad that was murdered in the most horrific way possible.

Kukon Ahmed handed himself into police in 2012 But to this date bail was granted and as a family are distraught. How can these people who have murdered an innocent young man be granted bail! Please help by not granting furthur bail to the people mentioned or extend bail for Kukon Ahmed.
