Ref:- (i)- France commitment to recognize ‘Provisional Government’ of united Syrian Rebels, paying dividends for ‘Arab Spring’

(ii)- French recognition to ‘Provisional Government’ will obviously get adequate arms etc to Rebels for their ultimate victory.

(iii)- French help is required by Rebels for ‘Provisional Government’ formation also.

(iv)- Through Global TV English channel of France, international support will be mobilized for the ‘Provisional Government’ of Rebels of Syria.

(v)- CNN, BBC, Al Jazeera, RT, CAN are not projecting Rebels cause and 'Arab Spring' properly.

(vi)- Ill-informed commentators (even from USA, like Stephen Kinzer) have started questioning ‘Arab Spring’ in view of US Diplomats killing in Libya

(vii)- Misguided elements trying in futility, to ward-off inevitable ‘Persian Spring’ in Iran

(viii)- France has to bear the burden & onus of bringing democracy in Syria single handed, till US Prez elections are over

Dear Sir

When on August 27, 2012 the French President, Francois Hollande urged divided opposition of Syria to form a ‘Provisional Government’, saying that Paris would give it official recognition, it was only a matter of time that peace would return to Syria after final battle between Rebels and Assad’s armed forces in which after recognition from France, the Rebels will get military support of every kind and other supports from France, and even from USA & Allies (once US Prez elections are over). Therefore the reports in international media that the Rebels have united and on Sunday they gave a clarion call from capital Damascus to over-throw Assad regime, warrants some more and sophisticated moves, as given below, by France (especially helpful for forming said ‘Provisional Government’) in order to bring as smooth as possible transition to democracy in Syria:-

(1)- Forming a 'Provisional Government' especially in Syria (the theater of deep international conflicts) is a complex matter. Hence, though various factions of Rebels have assembled in capital of Syria but they will not be able to form 'Provisional Government' without active support from France.

(2)- Moreover the over-throw of Assad regime will be opposed tooth & nail by Russia - China (who used veto against UN military intervention in Syria), Iran and substantial part of Shias world over and this will unleash such gigantic international upheavals that it will be naive to expect 'Unified Syrian Rebels' to handle it on their own.

(3)- Iran will intervene more violently for the simple reason that Iran is worried that successful uprising in Syria for secular democratic order of ‘Arab Spring’ is bound to result, sooner than later, in similar uprising in Iran through ‘Persian Spring’.

(4)- Therefore France will have to bear the burden & onus of bringing democracy in Syria single handed especially through the formation of 'Provisional Government’ (till US President elections are over, because European and other Allies of USA will take meaningful interest in ‘Arab Spring’ of Syria only when USA will come out openly in favor of Rebels, after Prez elections), .

(5)- Given the highly complex nature of stakes of powerful international players in Syria, the wide media publicity through a global English TV Channel (for the cause of Rebels / ‘Arab Spring’) is sine-qua-non in this 24/7 world. Because 24/7 TV Channels RT, CAN of Russia and China (for the obvious reasons that both countries Vetoed UN resolution for Syria) and even CNN, BBC, Al Jazeera (of USA, UK and Qatar) are not projecting Rebels cause / 'Arab Spring' properly, therefore France should launch Global TV English Channel also, for helping Syrian Rebels and 'Arab Spring'.

(6)- This French Global TV English Channel will serve one more very important purpose. Now days some ill-informed commentators (even from USA, like Stephen Kinzer) have started questioning ‘Arab Spring’ in view of US Diplomats killing in Libya due to violence triggered by anti – Islam trailer on internet. These misguided commentators are promoting funny ideas also (in a country like India, the largest democracy of the world, through leading national dailies) that India can help Iran in warding-off inevitable ‘Persian Spring’.

(7)- These ill-informed commentators (like Stephen Kinzer etc) do not try to understand that the problem of fundamentalism is a separate issue and it has nothing to do with democracy (‘Arab Spring’). In Muslim countries, fundamentalism is present in non-democratic countries also and will gain ascendancy in democratic countries too. This problem of fundamentalism in democratic Muslim countries can be addressed by adopting secular constitution and by replacing OP1 of ICCPR with MP1 along with permanent elaborate mechanism to enforce human rights in member countries through intervention of UN.

(8)- Unless these two measures (of secular constitution and MP-1 of ICCPR) are taken, the problem of violence out of fundamentalism in democratic Muslim countries will never be solved. This is precisely here that French Global TV English Channel can make immense contribution by mobilizing world opinion (including of USA & its other Allies) in order to ensure secular constitution and MP-1 of ICCPR through UN.

Therefore in view of commitment of France to recognize ‘Provisional Government’ of united Syrian Rebels and also in view of unification of Syrian Rebels (which is in desperate need of French support to form 'Provisional Government'), France should immediately launch 24/7 Global TV English Channel also - for helping Syrian Rebels, 'Arab Spring' and likely ' Persian Spring' in every way.
